About
Movement in football means how players run, change position, and find space — both when they have the ball and when they don’t. It’s all about staying active and helping your team. When you move, you make it easier for your teammates to pass the ball to you and harder for defenders to stop your team. Good movement means you’re always trying to get open, create space, and support the play. There are lots of ways to move in football: - Moving towards the ball to help a teammate. - Running into space to be ready for a pass. - Changing direction to lose your defender. - Moving after a pass so you can get involved again (“pass and move”). Movement is one of the secrets to good football. When everyone keeps moving and finding space, the team passes better, attacks faster, and has more chances to score goals!
